Configure Axonaut
Get your Axonaut API key to connect Order Invoicer
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
- You have an active Axonaut account
- You have administrator access to your Axonaut workspace
- Your plan includes access to the Axonaut API
Get your API key
Order Invoicer needs an API key to connect to your Axonaut account.
Open your Axonaut settings
- Log in to your Axonaut account at axonaut.com
- Click your avatar in the top right
- Go to Settings > API (or Developer area)
Retrieve your API key
- On the API settings page, you'll see your API key already generated
- If no key is displayed, click Generate an API key
- Copy the full key
Each Axonaut account has a unique API key. If you want to revoke or regenerate the key, you can do so from this same page.
The API key grants access to all of your Axonaut data. Never share it and keep it in a safe place.
Enter your key in Order Invoicer
From the Axonaut connection form in Order Invoicer, paste your API key into the API Key field.
The connector will automatically validate your key by querying the Axonaut API.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials" error
- Check that the key was copied in full
- Make sure there are no spaces at the beginning or end of the string
- Check that the key was not regenerated from your Axonaut account (the old key then becomes invalid)
"Access denied" error
- Check that your Axonaut plan includes API access
- Contact Axonaut support to upgrade your plan if needed
