Configure ACD
Connect your accounting firm's ACD dossier to Order Invoicer
Order Invoicer books your sales in the dossier your accounting firm keeps on ACD (Comptabilité Expert, i-Suite Expert): your invoices with their PDF, or only the accounting entries.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
- Your accounting firm uses ACD and keeps your dossier
- You have access to your firm's i-Suite Expert portal, or your firm can give you an API key
- The current fiscal year is open in your dossier
Get your credentials
Order Invoicer connects to ACD with your firm's i-Suite server address and an API key for your dossier.
Get the i-Suite server address
Open your firm's i-Suite Expert portal and copy its address, for example https://isuiteapiprod.suiteexpert.fr/cnx. You can paste the address of any page of the portal: Order Invoicer works out the server's.
Create an API key for your dossier
In the i-Suite Expert portal, create an API key for your dossier. If you don't have access, ask your firm for one.
The key only gives access to this dossier. Keep it safe: it can book entries in your accounts.
Enter your credentials in Order Invoicer
In the ACD connection form:
- i-Suite server address: the address copied in the first step
- API Key: your dossier's key
Order Invoicer checks the key and shows the name of the connected dossier.
Choose what you send
In the connector's Workflows tab, pick one of the two workflows:
- Invoices from orders: Order Invoicer numbers and generates the invoice, then books it in ACD as a sales entry, with its PDF filed in the dossier's document storage (GED). First fill in your company details and numbering in the Invoicing tab.
- Accounting entries for orders: Order Invoicer only books each sale's entry, per order, per day or per month, with no document for the customer.
The two workflows are exclusive: turning one on turns the other off.
Set up accounting
The Accounting tab reads your ACD dossier live:
- The ACD dossier card shows the connected dossier and its SIRET. It warns you when no fiscal year is open today, or when a configured account doesn't exist in the dossier.
- The sales journal is picked from the dossier's sales journals (
VEby default). - Customer accounts: ACD doesn't accept sales on the collective 411 account. In centralized mode, enter an existing generic customer account (for example
CDIVERS). In "one account per customer" mode, Order Invoicer creates each customer's account in ACD on their first sale, with their company name, SIREN and VAT number.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials" error
- Check that the address is your firm's i-Suite Expert portal
- Make sure the key was copied in full, without spaces
- If the key was deleted or regenerated, create a new one and replace it on the ACD application
ACD refuses an entry outside the fiscal year
ACD only accepts entries in years N and N+1 of your dossier. A sale dated in a closed year can no longer be sent: handle it directly with your firm.
Account, journal or VAT code not found
ACD refuses an entry using an account or journal missing from the dossier, or locked. Fix the settings in the Accounting tab, or ask your firm to create the account.
The invoice PDF isn't filed
The PDF is filed in the document storage according to the sales journal's filing plan. Without one, ACD refuses the invoice: ask your firm to set one up for that journal.
