Configure Magento
Create a Magento integration token to connect Order Invoicer
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
- You have administrator access to your Magento (Adobe Commerce) admin panel
- Your store is reachable over HTTPS from the internet
Get your credentials
Order Invoicer connects to Magento with your store URL and an API key (an integration access token).
Create an integration
- Log in to your Magento admin panel
- Go to System > Extensions > Integrations
- Click Add New Integration
- Give it a name (e.g. "Order Invoicer") and save
Grant API access
- In the integration's API tab, select at least the Sales (orders) and Catalog (products) resources
- Save, then click Activate
- Magento then shows the tokens — copy the Access Token
The access token grants access to your Magento data. Never share it and keep it in a safe place.
Enter your credentials in Order Invoicer
In the Magento connection form:
- Store URL: your store's HTTPS address (e.g.
https://www.mystore.com) - API Key: the access token you copied in the previous step
Click Test connection to verify your credentials before continuing.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials" error
- Check that the integration was activated (not just saved)
- Make sure the token was copied in full, with no spaces
- Check that the Sales and Catalog resources are allowed
Store is unreachable
- Check that the URL is HTTPS and publicly reachable
- Make sure no firewall or security plugin blocks API calls
