Install Wix

Connect your Wix store to Order Invoicer in a few clicks

Prerequisites

  • A published Wix site that takes online orders — through Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, Wix Events, or Pricing Plans
  • Owner or co-owner access to the Wix dashboard

Install via the Wix App Market

The recommended way to connect your Wix store is through the Wix App Market. No API key or Site ID needed — Wix handles the authorization automatically.

1. Install the app

Click the install link for your invoicing tool:

Wix will ask you to confirm the installation. Click Add to Site.

2. Open the app from your Wix dashboard

Once installed, go to your Wix dashboard and open the app from the left-hand menu or from Apps > Manage Apps. This launches Order Invoicer and automatically links it to your store.

3. Connect your invoicing account

Follow the onboarding steps to connect your invoicing tool (Sellsy, Qonto, etc.). Once connected, Order Invoicer starts syncing your orders automatically.

How it works

Once connected, Order Invoicer syncs one way — from your Wix store into your invoicing tool:

  • Orders → invoices. New Wix orders become invoices in your invoicing tool, usually within a few minutes of checkout. This includes orders from Wix Stores, Bookings, Events, and Pricing Plans — any Wix sale paid through Wix checkout. Later order updates (payment, cancellation, fulfillment) are kept in sync.
  • Draft orders. Draft orders created in Wix are synced too, so quotes and manual orders don't need re-entry.
  • Customers & products. Customer and product details from each order are carried over to help keep your records aligned and avoid duplicates.
  • Refunds → credit notes. A fully or partially refunded order is reflected as a credit note.
  • VAT & totals. Invoices reuse the VAT rates, currency, shipping, and totals from each order, optimized for EU VAT compliance.

Good to know

  • Disable Wix's native invoice emails. If Wix is set to email its own order invoices, turn that off in your Wix settings so your customers don't receive two invoices — the one Order Invoicer creates is the one that reaches your accounting.
  • Paid through Wix checkout. A sale creates an invoice once it becomes a paid Wix order — this covers Wix Stores, Bookings, Events, and Pricing Plans. A booking added manually and then paid by the client online works too. A booking you mark as paid offline (no Wix payment) doesn't create an order, so no invoice is created. Payment reconciliation (e.g. matching the Stripe payment) requires the client to have paid through Wix.
  • Only orders placed after setup are synced. Orders that existed before you installed the app are not imported retroactively.

Managing the connection

  • Pause the sync. To temporarily stop creating invoices, pause the connector from Order Invoicer. Uninstalling the app also stops the sync; documents already created in your invoicing tool are kept.
  • Multiple shops or tools. You can install more than one invoicing app on the same Wix site — for example to send orders to two different tools — and each runs independently.

Troubleshooting

App not found in dashboard — Make sure your Wix site is published and has a source that creates orders (Wix Stores, Bookings, Events, or Pricing Plans).

Onboarding not completing — If you land on an error page after installing, wait a moment and reopen the app from your Wix dashboard. If the problem persists, contact support.

An order didn't create an invoice — Check that the order was placed after you connected the app and that the connector isn't paused. Orders still being processed by Wix may take a few minutes to appear. If an invoice is still missing, contact support with the order number.
