Invoices from shipments
Invoice each shipment rather than the whole order
On Shopify, the Invoices from shipments workflow creates an invoice for each completed shipment, with only the items shipped. It is available from the Growth plan, with Sellsy, Pennylane and Cegid One Connect.
- Start date: shipments made before this date are ignored.
- Shipping fees are left out of these invoices, so they aren't billed again for each shipment of the same order.
- Depending on the software, the invoice can be emailed to the customer and sent to your approved e-invoicing platform (PA).
This workflow usually replaces Invoices from orders: with both on, an order can be invoiced as a whole and again for each shipment.
