Payment synchronization
Choose how order payments are reflected on the documents you create
Payment synchronization controls how an order's payment is reflected on the document created (invoice, sales order or estimate) in your invoicing software.
It is configured per workflow, in the Workflows tab of the connector settings.
Available modes
Disabled
No payment information is sent. The document is created, but its payment status is never updated from the order.
Choose this mode if you handle payments manually in your invoicing software.
Payment status only
The document is simply marked as paid when the order is paid. No individual payment is recorded — only the overall paid / unpaid state is mirrored.
This is the right mode for most invoicing software.
All payments
Each individual payment on the order is recorded on the document (amount, date, payment method), not just the paid / unpaid state. Useful when you need the payment breakdown in your accounting.
This mode is only available for Sellsy, whose API exposes individual payments. For other invoicing software the option is hidden and synchronization is limited to the payment status.
Draft documents
A payment can only be recorded on a validated document. If the workflow creates the document as a draft, payment synchronization only starts once the document is validated — it isn't possible while it stays a draft.
