E-invoicing
What Order Invoicer does with Sellsy invoices sent to the approved e-invoicing platform (PA)
E-invoicing with Sellsy
There is nothing to turn on in Order Invoicer: it creates and validates the invoice in Sellsy, and Sellsy sends it, through its approved platform (PA), to your customer's receiving PA. E-invoice emission just has to be turned on in your Sellsy account. This transmission uses no credit.
With the Draft status, the invoice is only sent once you validate it in Sellsy.
No duplicate email
When Email the invoice to the customer is on, Order Invoicer does not email an invoice that Sellsy sent to the PA: your customer has already received it, and the email would only carry a duplicate. The order history shows the email as skipped, and no credit is used.
Other invoices are still emailed: those issued to individuals and those that fall under e-reporting (a customer established abroad, for example).
Follow the invoice status
Order Invoicer follows the lifecycle the PA reports for each invoice (submitted, received, approved, collected…):
- the status shows on the order, next to the invoice, in the E-invoicing row;
- each new status is added to the order history.
Refused or rejected invoice
An invoice refused by your customer, rejected or found inadmissible by a platform, with a routing error or never submitted does not change status in Sellsy: it stays due and recorded. Order Invoicer shows it in red on the order and logs it as an error in the order history.
Issue a credit note for this invoice in Sellsy to cancel it, so that it is not recorded, then fix the cause of the rejection before issuing a new invoice.
