Sellsy rounding precision

Configure amount and unit-price precision in Sellsy

The connector's rounding settings determine how many decimals are kept for amounts and unit prices sent to Sellsy.

Configure precision in Sellsy

To change the precision Sellsy keeps on its documents:

  1. Open Sellsy.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Data, then Data format.
  4. Under Display precision, increase the number of decimals you need.
  5. Save the change.

The precision configured in Sellsy is the limit Sellsy actually keeps. A value with more decimals sent by Order Invoicer is rounded by Sellsy.

Align the connector

In Order Invoicer, return to your connector's advanced settings and open the Amount rounding section.

  • Number of decimals for amounts controls totals, taxes, and other monetary amounts.
  • Number of decimals for unit prices controls product prices sent to Sellsy.

After increasing the precision in Sellsy, set at least the same number of decimals for unit prices in Order Invoicer. The value cannot exceed the precision your Sellsy account actually keeps.

If the connector precision is higher than Sellsy's precision, Sellsy rounds the extra decimals. This can create a difference that is compensated with an adjustment line on the invoice.
